My communication with Naomi was very easy. She was friendly and responsive and helped me organize my safari trip at very late notice, just a couple of days before I flew to Kenya.
When I arrived at Nairobi, I was met by my driver and proceeded to the office to finalize my payments. After that I was taken to the departure area to meet the rest of the group to begin my 6 days Masai Mara, Nakuru & Amboseli visit.
Ken, our driver guide was accommodating and friendly throughout the entire trip. He always chose convenient stops for opportunities to take photos of wildlife. Even if we arrived later than many other cars, somehow he managed to pull close into the action.
With this, we saw most of the wildlife include Marabou stork, lion chase and so many large herds of elephants.
I really had a smooth and hassle-free experience with Tigre safaris.
John was our assigned driver for our safari starting in Masai Mara and ending in Amboseli. He was not only courteous, informative and professional, but went out of his way to ensure we were safe, comfortable and well taken care of. His knowledge on the flora and fauna was extremely extensive, he had an answer to all our questions! Eric ensured that we had the best views of the animals and stayed for as long as we needed to capture the best shots, whilst also ensuring we reached our next destination at the right time - not an easy task!
By the end of our trip we became firm friends and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Eric personally, if we come back!
He took a great deal of care of the Land Cruiser, ensuring it was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of mineral water provided in the vehicle.
The camps themselves were very well equipped and clean, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. The whole safari experience was enhanced by Eric, and we ticked off more than the Big Five off our list. We would definitely use Tigre Safaris in the future.
Our journey through Kenya's remarkable reserves including Masai Mara, L. Nakuru & Amboseli was a breathtaking experience. The pick-up from the airport and subsequent coordination were timely and smooth. The tour we booked included everything so there were no additional out of pocket expenses except for drinks, tips and souvenirs.
Sam, our driver-guide was knowledgeable and experienced. His professionalism, patience and hospitality are admirable. He was a great spotter of wildlife, very good driver in the bush and taught us so much about the flora and fauna we encountered.
We had the chance to witness incredible wildlife sightings including a group of elephants crossing our path in Amboseli and a pride of lions on a hunt. We also had a chance to connect with Maasai people at an extra cost.

I and my family went for a 14 days Kenya and Tanzania safari with Tigre Safaris. Masai Mara and Serengeti were the highlights. We loved the experience. The guide, Ted, was very professional. The staff were very swift and nice too. We saw alot of animals, all the big five and enjoyed a variety of activities such as boat rides and bicycle rides. The company is very flexible, and prices match the service. I would recommend this company to anyone planning a safari. Perfect!
